L’album PRÉSIDENTS D’AFRIQUE de l’artiste hip hop sénégalais Didier Awadi, du groupe Positive Black Soul (PBS) sera disponible au Canada dès le 15 juin. Awadi est un des personnages du long-métrage documentaire LES ÉTATS-UNIS D’AFRIQUE réalisé par Yanick Létourneau. L’album, sur étiquette Peripheria, sera distribué au Canada par Distribution Sélect. Peripheria a récemment signé une entente exclusive avec SÉLECT qui permettra la sortie de CD, DVD et produits numériques (sur internet) pour le marché canadien.

Four of our recent films have been selected at the RVCQ 2010. Two of the three shorts are premiere: WINTER KEEPER by Katherine Jerkovics and USELESS THINGS by Faisal Lutchmedial. The third short, THE BEAUTY WITH A GLASS OF MILK by Felix Roque, had been presented during the 10th anniversary of Prends ça court! The documentary BEHIND THE VEIL, co-directed by Natasha Ivisic and Yanick Létourneau, has also been selected.
